Most of us dread the day that we have to clean our bathroom. Even though we try to maintain regular cleaning, our busy lives can get in the way. Soil and dirt can build up, especially on the tiles and grout. But what are the best natural ways to clean? Below are some Bathroom Cleaning tips and tricks.
Bathroom Tiles, Shower and Bathtub
If you have a microfiber cloth use these for bathroom cleaning. They are the best way to trap all the dirt and soil.
Begin by cleaning the tiles with a 50 percent vinegar 50 percent water solution. For hard to get dirt or grout you can use a desk scrubbing brush or grout scrubbing brush.
Bathroom Shower Screens
A vinegar, detergent and water solution with steel wool is best for grime on shower screens.
Bathroom, Grout and Wall Cleaning
For grout that is hard to clean sprinkle baking soda on the floor. Spray with undiluted hydrogen peroxide and then gently scrub with a grout brush. For door frames, baseboards or spots on doors you can use either diluted sugar soap, jiff or a special magic eraser cleaning pad. Sugar soap is great for wall cleaning as well.
Toilet Cleaning
Once a week sprinkles baking soda in your bowl and near the top. Add a cup of undiluted vinegar onto the baking soda. The chemical reaction will help remove stains. Using a toilet scrubbing brush or deck brush scrub the entire bowl. Finish with a spray of hydrogen peroxide (undiluted).
Bathroom Floor Cleaning
Water is a very weak acid with pH of 6. It can be used with a mop and bucket to clean your bathroom floor. The wet mop will also help attract loose hair, pet hair and soil. For hard to reach corners and areas be sure to use a damp microfiber cloth or scrubbing brush and pad.
