Geelong is one of our favorite cities to work in. Today we were in the suburb of Newton for a KnuWhizz Geelong Vacate Cleaning. We arrived on site and were greeted by a small two bedroom unit. There was considerable glass on the front of the unit which was quite dirty. KnuWhizz normally just does the internal windows for the quote but since this was the front facade we wanted to do the best job for the client. Our technicians love the work and they were more than happy to do the external windows – at no extra cost.
There are a few easy steps to clean windows. Simple things can often take time to perfect and learn. There are many ways to clean windows but these are the methods which we have found to be best:-
Eliminate Cobwebs
Using a duster or hose wash down and remove all cobwebs. Pay particular attention to the eves and window frames as this is where most cobwebs will
form.
Wash the Window With Detergent
Using a washer or sponge with detergent wash and rub the window top to bottom left to right. Be sure to cover all the window area.
Rinse Window with a weak Water Ammonia/Solution
Carefully with the wiper blade of a squeegee wipe dip this in the weak ammonia water solution. Wipe from left to right top to bottom in a circular
motion.
After this step complete a final inspection for any hard-to-scrape off dirt. This might require the use of a special glass scraper to remove.
Once the job had been completed the client was most impressed. He said that he would highly recommend us to all his neighbors and friends.
