KnuWhizz Upholstery Cleaning technicians specialize in restoring color and vitality to your upholstered furniture. We serve the Ballarat and surrounding suburbs. All our technicians have been trained and certified by Jena Dyco – The International School of Carpet and Upholstery Care and have the expertise to deal with your problem stains.
Over time, upholstery gets built up with human protein stains, pet fur, soil, bacteria, dust and odor that can darken your upholstery. Our biodegradable and non-toxic chemicals will remove this old grey sheen from your furniture and make your upholstery look like new again.
We also offer additional deodorizing and stain-resistance coating protection services adding life to your upholstery.
Clean carpets, clean furniture, means a clean and healthy environment for the whole family.
The Upholstery Cleaning Procedure
Step 1. Inspection
A KnuWhizz Service Technician will inspect your upholstery for wear and tear, sun fading and problem stains. The chemical selection is determined by this process.
Step 2. Vacuum
The upholstery is vacuumed with our commercial grade HEPA Filtered Vacuum to remove dust, loose dirt and allergens.
Step 3. Pre-Spray
A service technician will pre-spray and spot your upholstery with our biodegradable cleaning solution, paying attention to problem areas and stains.
Step 4. Agitation
We will agitate the upholstery with a special upholstery brush to ensure soil separation.
Step 5. Hot Water Extraction (Steam Cleaning)
A Technician sprays the upholstery with low-pressure steam. The water attaches to the dirt/chemical particles and are vacuumed up with our powerful twin dual motor machine.
Step 6. Final Inspection
The upholstery is left to dry as the Service Technician performs the final inspection to address any problem areas. The customer is notified and asked to inspect the upholstery for their satisfaction.
